Description
Offered here is this Fabulous Handmade Solid Wood Armoire. It is definitely a fixer-upper project, as it has quite a few surface scratches and bangs on it. The shelf supports inside need to be re-fastened, as does the metal stopper plate for the doors. The hinged wooden doors are both intact and in pretty good condition, opening freely and easily. The brass handle is also intact but needs a good polishing. There is not a pole to hang clothing on inside the armoire, however, there are supports to put one in. There is a lot of excess glue in this area. I am unsure of the age or origins of the armoire, but I am fairly certain that it was handmade. It may actually be a vintage armoire that someone has added a few finishing touches to, like the trim at the top, which looks like it is some type of wall molding that has been re-purposed as a trim at the top of this armoire. It is very clever, and looks great. The armoire is 66.5" tall, 41" wide, and 19" deep. It is very nice looking even considering its issues, and would be a fabulous fixer project for someone. It could be restored to be an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture.Fabulous Hand Crafted Solid Wood Armoire - NEEDS TLC - GREAT WOOD GRAIN - USEFUL
