PURPOSE/FUNCTION - whatever you want!:
Maitland Smith describes this piece as an "entertainment center" but the only limit to its purpose is your imagination.  Who doesn't need more storage?  Yes, it could house a smaller TV (it's pictured with a 42" flat screen TV), but we're selling the Sanus TV mount separately (0), so it could be purchased with or without the mount and be used as a storage cabinet. Adding a power strip inside would allow you to hide away all sorts of electronics/business equipment. It would be equally at home in a bedroom, office, living room, den, or family room, and would add punch to whatever room it was in.  We got loads of compliments on it.  It's elegant & exotic looking, but not stuffy, and would blend well with a myriad of different styles.

detail & workmanship are unsurpassed.
All the brown-colored areas are beautiful hand-tooled leather. The doors & drawers are hand-carved & hand-painted.  The doors are pocket doors which slide back inside the cabinet. The legs are metal-banded.  The exterior is “AS NEW" - the interior shows extremely minor wear. It measures W51” x D26” x H80”. Movers commented that they don’t recall ever moving an armoire this heavy & said, “They don’t make them like this anymore.”
History:  This was originally purchased to house an old-style CRT TV, but we later had a professional cabinetmaker add a shelf, and a heavy-duty fully-extendable pull-out to which a bolt-down Sanus swivel TV mount was attached.
It comes from a house with no smoking/kids/pets.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY - The cabinet is located on the ground floor - no steps involved.  Camarillo, CA is located in Ventura County, about 44 miles south of Santa Barbara, and about 50 miles north-west of Los Angeles.  CASH ONLY, no exceptions.
