VINTAGE BLUE DELFT BOLS CANAL HOUSE FOR KLM #68, AMSTERDAM 1690, EMPTY

Description

Offered here is a 4-1/2” Delft blue canal house made by Bols for KLM – it is house #68, in Amsterdam; the house was built in 1690.   Since the 1950’s KLM has been gifting these houses to their World Business Class passengers (including to children and babies).  Until 1994 the houses were issued irregularly.  Since 1994 a new house has been presented each year on October 7, the anniversary of KLM’s founding in 1919.  There are currently 101 houses that have become highly collectible.  The bottle is empty, the chimney is sealed.
