We have a Factory Copy of an English Translation by John Baum of an original 1942 WW2 German combat bicycle manual that is dated May 26, 1942.  This manual is titled:   Troop Bicycle H.Dv.293, M.Dv. No. 5715, and L.Dv 406  This manual is 5 1/2" by 8 1/2"  46 pages long and is broken down into the following chapters.  A. In General, B.  Description of the troop bicycle, main parts, accessories, attaching assemblies for carrying along weapons, equipment, and ammunition.   C.  Use, D.  Handling E.  Cleaning, F.  Management and proof, G.  Procurement, costs of maintenance, and replacement, funding.  Illustrations, the troope bicycle, steering/controls and hand brake, front and coaster brake hub, pedal mounting and pedals, seat, troop bicycle with attachment assembly for the M.G. 34, Tripod 34,  container for cartridge boxes for the M.G. 34, hand grenades, light 5cm mortar left and right views, attaching devices for the ammunition cans, anti-Tank Rifle 39 with protective shell.   Barrel Guard 34.  Regulations, care, maintenance, and parts for the German bicycle.
