"Sistemi" Wardrobe by Cappellini in ebony w/ aluminum trimmed frost glass doors

This auction is for our beautiful tall "Sistemi" wardrobe by Cappellini.  We love it but unfortunately an upcoming move is dictating its sale. It is made up of two separate units linked together - one single narrow unit, and a wider double unit on the right as pictured. Finish is ebony and the frosted glass doors are trimmed with a beautiful thin aluminum frame. It is freestanding and is 94.5" high without legs or about 97" high with the legs installed. It is pictured freestanding without the legs installed as our 8' ceilings don't allow it. Together, the units form a 53 1/8" wide wardrobe, 23 3/4" deep. There’s one lower shelf in each of the linked units (e.g., for shoes or clothing accessories), and a chrome polished steel hanging pole in each of linked units for clothes. The upper cabinet units can be used for storing whatever preferred. Yes. it is big and an impressive statement piece. It is in good overall used condition. There are a few relatively insignificant scratches/blemishes here and there and one of the small upper panels on the inside of the larger unit has had repairs, it doesn't affect the functionality/integrity and is not visible as it's inside the unit. The wardrobe is offered at a small fraction of the original cost and is listed locally along some of our other high-end B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Cassina and Ligne Roset furniture (please inquire if interested in buying any of my other designer furniture pieces), and as such I reserve the right to end this listing early. The floor lamp, chair, office chest, and the small lamp shown in the pictures along the wardrobe ARE NOT included in this auction. If interested in buying any of them let us know and we can list them in separate auctions here on eBay.
Cash and local pick up only auction!  LOCATED IN NORTH VA (WASHINGTON D.C. AREA).  TOO LARGE TO BE SHIPPED! PayPal is an accepted payment option as well but since item is for local pick-up (i.e. without tracking and shipping documents) buyer must inspect the item on pick-up in person and acknowledge receipt of item according to description through eBay messaging system and must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
Same applies to shipping/pick-up arranged by buyers on their own through a specialized shipping/moving company - item must be inspected on pick-up by buyer’s shippers and buyer must then acknowledge through eBay messaging system of his/her shippers’ taking possession of the item and both parties must exchange feedback before item leaves the premises.
This is expensive furniture and I do not ship it because it is too bulky, heavy, and fragile, and I don’t want to take the risk of something being broken in transit. Buyers however can arrange shipping/pick-up on their own in line with the terms stated above. I can help with the disassembly (if needed). If not local and intending to bid please reach out first to discuss how you intend to pick it up so that I know you’re aware of the local pick-up logistics. Occasionally I receive offers from non-local bidders and not being aware of their pick-up arrangements/ability I do not know how to respond to such bids/offers.
